I've provided all the required documentation. Why haven't I been verified yet?

Once you've provided all the required documentation and completed the mandatory training, your recruiter will submit them for review. This can take 1-2 business days to complete. Once the review by our compliance team has been completed, your recruiter will notify you of the next steps.

Why doesn't my BLS certificate from the American Heart Association qualify as First Aid?

While the BLS certificate from the American Heart Association qualifies for CPR certification, it does not include First Aid. We are happy to provide our group link to obtain your First Aid certificate, free of charge, during our vetting process. Please reach out to your recruiter directly or our Support line at help@zeneducate.com to get started.

What happens after verification?

After you've been verified, your recruiter will book you in for a Job Placement call with one of our account managers. This session will be focused on reviewing job opportunities and outlining the next steps to get placed into work. It will also be a time to provide you with general information on direct deposit information, booking your first day, providing relevant contact information, as well as answering any questions you may have.

Why haven't I been placed in a long-term role yet?

Long-term roles aren't always guaranteed by the time of verification. Many factors can play into this as school needs can change and vacancies are filled as soon as possible. In the meantime, educators have the option to take on daily subbing until a long-term role becomes available to them. Daily Subbing is a great opportunity to gain experience, have flexibility, and stay productive while educators wait for long-term roles to appear.

When should I hand in my notice from my current job?

Once verified, we will book you in for a Job Placement call with one of our Account Managers who will discuss the opportunities we have that could be a good fit for you. Please note that we can work around notice periods to ensure a smooth transition from your current position to a role with Zen. Please do not hand in your notice at your current role until your profile is verified with Zen Educate.

Are all the training modules in the app mandatory?

All mandatory training courses are completed before verification. Any additional training modules or courses offered on the Zen Educate app are optional. However, they are great resources for additional learning and standing out to schools!
