Reporting Absences with Zen Educate US
π« Impact of Absences
Unexplained absences and being late can create understaffing situations in classrooms that could put children at risk, and which put a strain on other staff members. Even a single unexplained absence could result in an early end to a specific job; reduced access to future jobs; or termination.
If you become aware that you are unable to attend your shift, you must inform Zen Educate via the Zen App or by calling your Zen Account Manager at the earliest possible moment. Informing Zen as early as possible maximizes the possibility of finding a suitable replacement to support the children in their school days.
If an employee is unable to report for work on any particular day, they must notify Zen using the Zen App at least 24 hours in advance of the time the employee is scheduled to begin working for that day (unless it is impossible to do so, in which case the employee must call as soon as possible thereafter).
