Unable to See Roles: Troubleshooting Guide

If you aren't seeing daily supply positions, it is often due to specific eligibility requirements, schedule conflicts, or profile settings. To ensure you are looking in the right place, it is important to understand the difference between our two main role types:

  • Daily Supply Roles: These are short-term, often same-day or next-day unfilled positions designed for maximum flexibility. These roles are only visible in the mobile app.
  • Long-Term Assignments: These positions cover extended periods.

Open roles are unfilled positions that you can view and accept instantly. Use this guide to ensure your profile is optimized to receive the most opportunities through the app.


1. Check Your Eligibility

To be eligible for any roles, your profile must meet these core standards:

  • Verification: You must be fully verified in our system.
  • Reliability: Your absence rate must be low

2. Time of Day and Demand

The time you check the app significantly impacts what you see:

  • High Demand: Roles are often accepted quickly. We recommend checking as early as possible in the morning.
  • Seasonal Fluctuations: Role availability is based on school needs, which fluctuate throughout the school year.
  • Stay Alert: Ensure Push Notifications are enabled in your phone settings so you never miss a new posting.

3. Subject and Skill Matching

The system only shows roles that match your credentials and preferences:

  • Role Type: Your profile must match the specific role type (e.g., Teacher vs. Paraprofessional).
  • Subject Matching (US): You only need to match any one of the job’s listed subjects to see the role.
  • School Type: The role must match the school types (Charter, District, etc.) listed in your skills.

4. Location and Travel Settings

You are shown roles based on your location and travel preferences

  • Travel Time: Roles are hidden if a role's travel time exceeds your max travel time preferences
  • Updating Preferences: You can update your travel time preferences directly in the app.

5. Schedule Conflicts

The app automatically filters out roles that conflict with your current schedule:

  • Overlaps: Roles will not appear if they overlap with your accepted bookings, or "Unavailability" blocks.
  • Weekly Schedule: The role must align with your established weekly availability.

While you can change travel preferences in the app, you cannot adjust other preferences (like school types or role types) yourself.
