Arizona: 🍎 Getting Your Substitute Teacher License

At Zen Educate, we’re dedicated to connecting passionate educators with schools where they can make a meaningful impact. For those looking to act in the capacity of a teacher over a classroom in Arizona, The Department of Education requires either a state teaching license, or a Substitute Certification. We can help you upskill and take the next step in your education career.

📚 How to Apply

If you hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, you can complete the application with the Department of Education (DOE) to apply for your substitute certificate to teach any grades PreK-12. Please click the link here to complete the application on the DOE website. You will need to obtain your IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Department of Public Safety, your official transcripts, and the certificate fee of $60.

💰 Good News — We Reimburse!

Zen will reimburse for the Substitute Certificate application fee and the cost of obtaining your IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, once you’ve completed 1 day of work with us!

Send your receipt and teacher license to be eligible for reimbursement - Email to help@zeneducate.com
