Arizona: ๐ MMR Immunity Overview
What Is It & Why Is It Needed?
The MMR vaccine protects against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
Itโs important for people of all ages, but you should always consult your healthcare provider to confirm if itโs right for you
Why Zen Educate Requires It
Since Zen Educate partners with many school districts, all educators must provide proof of two MMR doses. This helps reduce the risk of disease spreading when working closely with students.
Ways to Show Immunity โ
1. Vaccination Records ๐
- Born on or before 1957 โ assumed immune, no proof needed
- Born 1957โ1990 โ likely received only one dose
-
If you canโt find records, you may need a Titer Test or another vaccine dose
2. Titer Test ๐งช
If you think you received both doses but have no records, you can take an MMR Titer Test to check immunity.
3. Getting the Vaccine ๐
If no records exist or full immunity isnโt confirmed:
- You may choose to get vaccinated again
-
You can request a MMR Vaccination Voucher through your Zen recruiter
4. Medical or Religious Exemption ๐ฉบ
If you qualify for an exemption, you may submit an exemption form located under 'MMR Immunizations' on your Zen Educate profile

Getting an MMR Titer Test ๐งช
A Titer Test is a simple blood test that checks for immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
Zen Educate partners with Wellness Mart for Titer Test services. To learn more about the Titer Test process can read more here.
When to Consider a Titer Test:
- You canโt find vaccination records
- You believe you received two doses but have no physical or digital proof
- Youโre open to getting another dose if not fully immune
MMR Titer Test Results ๐
To be considered immune, all three results (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) must be Positive/Reactive โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
If any result is not positive/reactive, additional vaccination or testing may be required.
