Overtime

When operating requirements or other needs cannot be met during regular working hours, employees may be scheduled to work overtime. As non-exempt employees, educators will be paid one and one-half (1.5) times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in one workweek, and as otherwise required by applicable state and federal law

All overtime work must be authorized in advance by your Account Manager. Working overtime without prior authorization may result in disciplinary action.

Paid time off such as sick pay, vacation pay, holiday pay, and jury duty pay (where applicable) will not count toward hours worked for the purpose of determining overtime pay.

For overtime pay calculation purposes, the workday begins at 12:00am and ends 24 consecutive hours later. The workweek begins at Saturday 12:00am and ends at Friday 11:59pm, in the local timezone.
