The No Smoking and Vaping Policy

The schools Zen works with are all smoke-free and vape-free. Vaping on a school site and vaping during shift hours is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action. Disciplinary action may result in the early end to your placement; reduced access to future jobs with Zen; or termination from Zen.

Smoking and the use of all tobacco- and cannabis-related products, including but not limited to, smoking, the use of chewing tobacco or other smokeless tobacco, the use of e-cigarettes or vaping, or the use of cannabis edibles, is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action. Disciplinary action may result in the early end to your placement; reduced access to future jobs with Zen; or termination from Zen.

Educators who observe other Zen educators smoking or using tobacco products on school premises have a right to object and should report the violation to the Zen Support Team. Employees will not be disciplined or retaliated against for reporting others from violating the No Smoking or No Vaping policy.
